PRE & POSTNATAL MAMAS
PRENATAL
Pregnancy is a beautiful time when our bodies are growing and changing to accommodate creating LIFE. It is so important to continue movement during pregnancy in a safe and comfortable way, in order to keep you strong and limber. Staying active during pregnancy also greatly helps in the recovery period post-birth. Having three very large babies myself, I saw a huge difference in my recovery period with my third child (with whom I was active during pregnancy) versus my first two pregnancies where I was not very active. At the Collective by JABFIT we welcome our pregnant ladies and want to ensure you have a safe and comfortable experience at our studio. These are our recommendations of weekly classes that can be safely done during the entirety of your pregnancy, modifications are always welcome and encouraged in ALL classes!
Sculpt Lab (Non-Hot) with Lauren / Tuesdays 10:15am
BODYRock with Laurel / Mondays at 7:30pm or Thursdays at 9:15am
POSTNATAL
The Postnatal period or 4th trimester as it’s sometimes called is a wild ride! It’s crucial during this time to give yourself as much grace and patience as possible as your body heals and recovers from the trauma of childbirth. Even the strongest, most fit women, need to rest their bodies. You just made a human, chill for a sec! BUT, we also know that movement can be medicine, and IS for many of us which is why at The Collective by JABFIT we have multiple programs and classes perfectly suited for (medically cleared) postnatal Mamas! The mental recovery is a whole different beast and getting those endorphins flowing will help 10x over! As someone who personally suffered with PPD with my first pregnancy, getting back into fitness saved me.
We have two programs that we run regularly called POSTNATAL MOMMY MOJO (you can bring your baby!) and STARTER SWEAT, both of which are run as 5 or 6 week programs to help ease you back in.

Sculpt Lab (Non-Hot) with Lauren on Tuesdays (**If you’d like to try a HOT version of Lauren’s class you can try Mondays and Fridays)
Bounce Sculpt or Bounce Strong (YOU WILL NOT PEE I SWEAR!)
BODYRock with Laurel on Mondays and Thursdays
Hot Cuts (**This is a HOT class but is not an advanced pace and can easily be modified)
